Mini Math Project –
Due Friday, February 7
You are to use your knowledge of fractions with your cooking skills!
1. Decide
on what you would like to make to share with the class.
2. Your
recipe needs to include at least 3 fractions: example: ½ tsp. baking powder, 3½
cups of flour, and 2¾ cups of sugar.
Of course you will need other
ingredients, but they don’t have to be fractions.
*** You
can double your ingredients if needed***
3. You
need to write your recipe on
an index card and highlight 3 fractions that you used.
4. Bring your finished product
and your recipe to school. You will present your
recipe to the class and share your goodies.
**This
will count as a major test grade. This is not
a homework grade! It is a test
grade!!!!!
** DO NOT
get any help with measuring out your ingredients. You certainly may get help
with operating the stove or oven. Make sure a parent is supervising you during
that part of the cooking.
You need
enough for 23 people!
