Pinecrest

Parents,
Tomorrow is our field trip to Pinecrest.   The bus will leave tomorrow morning at 7:45 sharp.  Make sure your child is here no later than 7:30.  An itinerary was sent home in last week’s Wednesday folder.  It has also been put on the blog for you.
If you have any medications, epipens, inhalers, etc. that need to go with your child tomorrow, please place them in a baggie with your child’s name on it and give it to a teacher.  Please remember we will be outside most of the time.  It is still warm enough for bees and wasps and we will be in a wooded area.  If there are any specific or special instructions that go with the medication, let us know that information also.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.  We look forward to a wonderful time tomorrow.  It is supposed to be a beautiful day!!!!!

Achievement Tests

Parents-
We will begin our Achievement Tests next week.  This year 5th and 6th grade will test online.  The students have already begun to prepare for the online version by completing demonstrations of the tests in class.  This familiarizes them with the details (how to answer the questions, how to go back to check answers, etc.) of the testing process.  Please encourage your children to eat a healthy breakfast and get plenty of sleep next week!
Thanks,
Allison Moffett

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 6TH GRADE FINE ARTS SELECTIONS

From Mrs. Moffett:

I think that there has been some confusion about Fine Arts for 6th grade.  Students could choose both  band and chorus for next year.  We are showing the lowest band numbers that we have ever had for 6th grade.  They do have permission to participate in both band and chorus, so if they want to make a change, now is the time to do it.  We will not make changes after this week!
